CLOUD SPRINKLER

Installation

1. Tools and Materials Needed

  • Drill and appropriate drill bits
  • Screwdriver
  • Wire stripper
  • Waterproof sealant glue (if installing outside)
  • Cloud Sprinkler™

2. Preparing for Installation

  • Before beginning the installation, ensure you have all necessary tools and materials.
  • Locate a suitable installation site near a power source and within reach of your irrigation system's wiring.
  • Ensure the Cloud Sprinkler™ power adapter with a two-meter-long cable is available.

3. Mounting the Cloud Sprinkler™ Back Panel

  • Hold the Cloud Sprinkler™ bottom panel against the wall where you want to mount it and mark the screw holes with a pencil.
  • Drill pilot holes at the marked locations and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  • Secure the Cloud Sprinkler™ bottom panel to the wall using the mounting screws.

4. Connecting the Wires

Follow the wiring diagram included with your Cloud Sprinkler™. Here are the general steps:

  • Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from the ends of each wire.
  • Connect the common wire from the valves to the common terminal on the Cloud Sprinkler™.
  • Connect each valve wire to the corresponding zone terminal on the Cloud Sprinkler™.
  • There is an option to connect two water meters: 'WM1' and the'COM' terminal or 'WM2' and the'COM' terminal. The rain switch connects to the 'Rain SW' terminal and the 'COM' terminal. All 'COM' terminals are internally connected.
  • If using AgroGlide™ Two-Wire technology, connect the Two-Wire cable to the AG input terminal on the Cloud Sprinkler™ and COM terminal, then connect the sensors and valves along the Two-Wire path.
  • Secure all Two-Wire connections with waterproof wire connectors.

5. Mounting the Cloud Sprinkler™ Front Panel

  • Secure the Cloud Sprinkler™ front panel with a screwdriver.
  • Make sure the top panel sealant is in the correct position for waterproofing.

6. Powering Up the Cloud Sprinkler™

  • Connect the Cloud Sprinkler™ power adapter to a power source.
  • Turn on the power.
  • Check the Cloud Sprinkler™ display to ensure it is receiving power.

7. App Connectivity

  • After power on Cloud Sprinkler™, install the AgroGlide™ app on your mobile device.
  • Confirm the signup properly in the app, go to settings, and click the "Add Device" menu.
  • Scan the device QR code with the app's camera (make sure to give the app camera permission).

    Note: To find the QR code, go to the Cloud Sprinkler™ LINK menu (SETTINGS > LINK) and press the 'Enter' button.

  • Once the device type and ID are detected, give the device a name and set the correct location for weather data usage.
  • Go back to the home menu, find the added device, and click the connect button.

    Any number of devices can be added to a single user account. All devices will be listed on the home screen for use.

8. Configuring the Cloud Sprinkler™

  • Follow the Cloud Sprinkler™ user manual for more setup details.
  • Program the watering schedule for each zone. Refer to the user manual for specific programming instructions.
  • For Cloud Sprinkler™ with AgroGlide™ sensor inputs, configure the Intelligent Sensor Watering Technology to use the sensor data for scheduling.

9. Testing the System

  • Manually activate each zone to ensure the valves open and close properly.
  • Check for any leaks or wiring issues and address them as necessary.
